Sp'awkw'us Feather Shakedown

One of Squamish's biggest summer events is back!

Now in its sixth year, the Sp'akw'us Feather Shakedown brings together live music, DJs, local culture, food, and community for an unforgettable evening at Oceanfront Squamish — with Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains as your backdrop.

Get the night started with hometown heavy hitters Phantom, Squamish's rising metal band, before Vancouver indie favourites Blonde Diamond take the stage.

Garret T. Willie of Alert Bay brings soulful blues-rock and West Coast storytelling while Welhtima Kexwusem shares Squamish Nation cultural song and dance, grounding the celebration in the traditions of the land and community.

As the sun sets, the park turns into an open-air dance party with a stacked DJ lineup: Anishinaabe producer Boogey the Beat, electrifying violin-and-bass duo Kytami & Phonik Ops, crowd favourite Civillian ("DJ of the people"), and genre-bending headliner Neon Steve, keeping the dance floor moving until the final beat.

Good to know

• Getting there: On-site parking is extremely limited. Walking, cycling, or carpooling is encouraged. Complimentary bike parking is available, and paid parking is in effect at the Oceanfront lots ($10/day).
• Food & drink: Local food vendors will be serving all evening, and a site-wide liquor licence means you can enjoy a drink anywhere on the festival grounds.
• New this year: The site will be fully fenced, with bag checks at all entrances. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
• VIP Zone: Upgrade your night for $25 with premium stage views, a private bar, exclusive washrooms, shaded seating, and a more relaxed spot to take it all in.
