World Day of Prayer 2024

World Day of Prayer is an international, inter-church annual event for over 100 years.

This year, the theme for World Day of Prayer is based on Ephesians 4: 1-3, "I beg you...bear with one another in love" prepared by a committee of Christian women of Palestine.

Held traditionally on the first Friday in March, it is now celebrated in 146 countries. Offerings received through the World Day of Prayer transform prayers into action in the form of project grants empowering women and children in Canada and throughout the world.

This year's service is produced through the collaboration of several Squamish faith-based organizations: Squamish United Church (hosting), The River Church, Squamish Bahai Community, St. John the Divine Anglican Church, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
