Rock Climbing Summer Camp

Five days of rock climbing

Each day, the camp will have mornings at Ground Up Climbing Centre, and afternoons at the Smoke Bluffs Park. Morning activities will include roped climbing and bouldering, special climbing challenges, team-building activities, technical skills such as ascending and rappelling, arts and crafts, and of course lots of games! Before lunch, they will ride bikes from Ground Up Climbing Centre to Smoke Bluffs Park. The group will eat lunch at the Smoke Bluffs, then do outdoor activities in the afternoon. Outdoor activities at the Smoke Bluffs will include hiking on trails, outdoor top-rope rock climbing, scavenger-hunt-like games, and rappelling. Activities may be changed or modified depending on the weather, but we will plan to be outside rain or shine except in the most extreme weather. Activities will be done with groups of kids with similar ages and abilities, and the gym will always aim to provide that perfect level of challenge for the brand new beginner, the seasoned climber, and everyone in between.
