Come get a taste of Magic: The Gathering in a beginner-friendly environment!
During this free demo and introduction to play event, players will get acquainted with the basic mechanics of the game and take on their first opponent in one-on-one matches using 20-card mini decks. We’ll cover basic terminology, turn structure, card types, and, of course, the Magic player’s motto: Untap! Upkeep! Draw! No cards? No problem!
Loaner materials will be provided for the demo session. Players can put their newfound knowledge into practice at Learn to Play Magic the Gathering: Standard Play for Beginners, a paid event beginning immediately after this free demo and introduction.
