Father's Day Cornhole CNC Workshop

Make memories and make a family game for the summer with our afternoon woodworking workshop at Create Makerspace
Date: Sunday June 16th
Time: 3.5 hour workshop with staggered starting times from 12pm - 6pm.
Reserve your time when you book your ticket. Price includes one parent and up to 3 kids, instruction, and the supplies to make two cornhole boards with beanbags.
Spend your Father’s day making memories and a fun summer activity - the classic game of cornhole! First, the team at Create Makerspace will set you up on the CNC machine where you will cut out all the pieces to a standard regulation cornhole game with an optional engraving (time to bust out that family crest or motto). No experience required.
Then you’ll use a handheld multi-tool to separate out the pieces and a router to smooth the edges. Kids are welcome to use the tools as long as it’s age and focus-level appropriate. You know your kid best. Finally, screw the two cornhole platforms together and assemble your beanbags with a little hand sewing. Ta-da! You have a family heirloom you can use camping, in the backyard or at that upcoming family reunion.
What to bring: All supplies are included. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is recommended. There is some to borrow, but you can bring your own if you have it: Safety glasses Hearing protection (earplugs) Please tie long hair back and wear closed-toe shoes. No loose clothing or necklaces.
