What to Expect at Squamish's First Annual Craftoberfest

A Bavarian-style celebration is coming to the West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish Saturday, October 6 and this is one party you do not want to miss. Squamish Craftoberfest is a twist on the over 200-year-old German tradition with dancing, Bavarian Olympics, a yodelling contest and so much more. There will be live music featuring The Rheinlander Oompah Band and DJ Traxx destined to get you grooving on your feet.

What You Will See

If men in lederhosen don't get you excited, hundreds of frothy full beer steins may do the trick. Sizzling sausage and warm pretzels are also destined to lift your spirits and put a smile on your face. Grab a beer and join together with a big group of friends, linking arms, and swaying to and from to the oompah-pah beat. And if that’s not enough of a party, DJ Traxx will be there spinning tunes. With prizes for costumes up for grabs, it’s time to dress as your best Bavarian self and arrive ready to dance and sing-a-long to great old drinking songs.
