The jingle bells are ringing, the snow is smattering the alpine, and the holiday spirit is alive in Squamish! As the season of merriment kicks off, Squamish is buzzing with an array of delightful events to make this winter truly magical.
Holiday Parade - Downtown Squamish
On Saturday, December 6th, the heart of Squamish will come alive with the Downtown Squamish Holiday Parade. Join the community on Cleveland Ave as it lights up the streets with dazzling floats, festive music, and a sprinkle of holiday magic. It's a perfect way to kick-start the season.

Festive Hub - Squamish Adventure Centre
For a one-stop-shop and festive atmosphere, head to the Squamish Adventure Centre. Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with a hot beverage and seasonal treats from Caffe Garibaldi. Start ticking off your Christmas to-do list and find unique gifts at The Squamish Store, and enjoy the holiday decorations.

Holiday Enchanted Forest - Squamish Canyon
NEW THIS YEAR! Step into a world where woodland friends come alive with holiday magic. Wander through the Squamish Canyon, transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland and feel the enchantment of the season all around you.
Other Squamish Canyon festive events include Canyon Host Storytime in the Forest Lounge (featuring family-friendly holiday stories, Sundays at 12PM beginning November 30th), Movies on the Boardwalk (festive film screenings on Dec 7, 14, 20–24), and Gingerbread Cookie Decorating (Dec 13 & 14, 11AM – 2PM)

North Pole Express- Railway Museum of BC
All aboard the North Pole Express! Take a magical journey at the Railway Museum of BC, where a vintage train ride transports you to the North Pole. Enjoy the festive decorations and music, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of Santa Claus himself. It's a ride that promises joy and wonder for both the young and the young at heart.
When: Weekends only, November 29-30th, December 6-7th, 13-14th & December 20th-21st
Photos with Santa: Toys Through The Decades- Britannia Mine Museum
This holiday season, the Britannia Mine Museum invites families to step into a winter wonderland for 'Photos with Santa: Toys Through the Decades.' In celebration of their landmark 50th anniversary, this heartwarming event is a community gift, offering an authentic, multi-generational experience completely free of charge. Share cherished moments with Santa in a festive photo zone, beautifully adorned with vintage charm, twinkling lights, and timeless holiday magic. Journey through time along a festive walkway of Christmas trees and explore Santa's magical setting, showcasing 50 years of toys that shaped generations, from the 1970s to the 2020s.
Admission includes: Photos on your phone, a visit with Santa, complementary hot chocolate and cookie, access to the lower site exhibits and gold panning. Does not include the underground tour or BOOM! experience.

Spirit of the Season - Sea to Sky Gondola
Head up the Sea to Sky Gondola for a winter wonderland, including a Decorated Forest Walk (starts Dec 1st), Festive Tree Lighting (Saturday, November 29th) and heartwarming Storytime in Nature for the kiddos (Tuesdays starting Dec 2nd). Beginning Thursdays on December 8th, head up to the summit for Taste of Summit, the season’s most scenic dinner, where twilight meets snow-dusted peaks and the lodge’s glow warms the room. Enjoy Mediterranean-inspired flavours, shareable tapas and seasonal ingredients rooted in Spanish tradition (reservations only).
Be sure to register for your Photos with Santa session - the breathtaking backdrop of snow-capped mountains provides a festive keepsake that will be forever cherished. These events are sure to fill your days with holiday joy.

Christmas on the Farm - Lavendel Farm
Pay a visit to Lavendel Farm for their annual 'Christmas on the Farm' on November 29th for an enchantng holiday experience filled with adorable farm animals, hot beverages, and an 'elf forest' scavenger hunt. Meet Santa an his elves and enjoy their cozy fire pit. Visits are in 45-minute time slots, children under 2 are free and there are family passes available. Tickets must be purchased in advance, you can grab them here.

Neverland Starlight Ski Loop- Olympic Park
Explore under the beautiful starry skies of the Callaghan Valley on selected Mondays & Wednesdays at Olympic Park. Their new 'Neverland Starlight Loop' is a magical half-kilometer ski loop featuring a beautiful mix of lights that create an enchanted night skiing experience. Day tickets & rentals are discounted to only $12 each!
When: Monday & Wednesday from December 8, 2025 onwards, 3PM - 9PM
Due to popularity, there are no walk-in rentals available on Monday & Wednesday Nights. Online pre-booking is required for all rentals & limited spots are available. See their website for further details and to book.
ValleyCraft Makers Market
Head down to the neighbourhood of Valleycliffe on Saturday, November 29th to explore a special holiday craft market featuring local artisans and creators. Discover everything from art to photography, apparel, jewelry, ceramics, and more, it's a great way to get a head start on your gift shopping.
