Celebrating Eagles with Nerdy About Nature

Ross recently collaborated with Tourism Squamish on a Nerdy About Nature video series about one of our all-time favourite animals and perennial top bird – the bald eagle.

As home to one of North America’s largest populations of bald eagles, Squamish is a prime location to view these amazing birds in their natural habitat. Enticed by spawning salmon in the Squamish and Cheakamus Rivers, the eagles gather on the shores within viewing distance to their many admirers and eager photographers. Established in 1996, the 755-hectare Brackendale Eagles Park Reserve protects their habitat and provides them with a prime territory where they can safely hunt and flourish.
