A Visitor's Guide to the Squamish Wind Festival

This weekend downtown Squamish is coming alive with one of the Sea to Sky Corridor's biggest summer festivals, the sixth annual Squamish Wind Festival! It features three jam-packed days of all things art, music and wind. Here’s our guide to catching all the action - for free!

Art Workshops and Activations

Watch a live carving demonstration with renowned artist Xwalacktun, craft with Happimess, or BYOT (bring your own t-shirt) to have it screen printed right on site. Also, don’t miss out on the outdoor art exhibit, a featured artist display, aerialist performers, live buskers, axe throwing, visual arts and more. All workshops are free to participate in!

Kids of all ages (yes that means adults too) can become a work of art by adorning themselves with hand-crafted balloon hats or by having their face painted. Face painting and balloon hat stations will be set up around the park all day Saturday. There will also be a Kid's Zone full of games, crafts and more located behind the market.

Axe Throwing

Grab an axe, aim and release. Enjoy this fun, no experience required activity with all your friends at this year's Wind Festival.
