Squamish Craft Tasting Trail

Take a walk on Squamish's Craft Tasting Trail and earn prizes for sampling made-in-Squamish beverages. You can pick up a Craft Tasting Trail Passport from the Squamish Adventure Centre or at any of the following makers and win great prizes for participating.

Collecting stamps is simple; navigate from maker to maker and receive a stamp at each place you visit on your passport. No purchase is required but having fun and staying safe are a must, so be sure you make a plan. We've even added some fun family-friendly options so the whole family can come along (or you can take a well deserved treat break).

Craft Tasting Trail Map

1. A-FRAME Brewing Co.

Bringing BC lake #CabinVibes to Sea to Sky Country one pint at a time. Taste a flight and fill up a growler with one of A-FRAME's full-flavoured beers created using modern techniques and traditional ingredients. Spearheaded by a family and team that is passionate about community, supporting local, getting involved, and slowing it down for a good beer.

2. Backcountry Brewing

Enjoy the lively tasting room with a full menu service and fill up a growler or two from a wide selection of craft brews. In 2022, Backcountry plans to release over 90 different limited release beers on top of their much loved year-round beers. Be sure to check out their retail store with a massive selection of cans along with branded merchandise and beer infused hot sauce.

3. Howe Sound Brewing Co.

Howe Sound pioneered Squamish's beer scene in 1996 and is still going strong two decades later. Come for the award-winning handcrafted ales and lagers; stay for the extensive menu and sunny patio. This is a brewery that loves connecting people over quality craft beer and has a passion for adventure in the Sea to Sky.

4. Cliffside Cider 

A locally born, unique craft cidery in downtown Squamish serving up a variety of cider blends and craft cocktails. The charming tasting room includes a small patio, bar and table seating. Hit up the adjacent food truck for delicious eats as you savour the flavours in this hidden gem in Downtown Squamish.

5. Geo Cider

Naturally, flavoured craft cider lovingly made in small batches with 100% BC apples. The two-floor tasting room features ciders on tap and fresh delicious pub grub food. Created and run by a fascinating team of characters, this cidery is a must-visit in Squamish.

6. Counterpart Coffee Roasters

Specialty coffee roasters dedicated to roasting and serving unique, memorable coffees. Stop by for fresh baked goods, delicious coffee and seasonal beverages. 

7. Galileo Coffee

A Sea to Sky favourite for small-batch, artisanal coffee. Roasters take every care possible to bring to light the essence in the coffee and the flavour profile in the beans. (Currently closed. New location TBA)

8. Boozewitch Shrubs by Brujera

Boozewitch Shrubs are 'drinking vinegars' that add flavour and depth to cocktails, mocktails and food recipes. Pick up a variety of flavours at Cordelia's Locket.

9. Sunflower Bakery & Café

Famed for their fun, themed donuts, this downtown bakery & café offers Parallel 49 coffees as well as fresh bread, pastries, pies, sausage rolls, soup, sandwiches and salads. A perfect stop when you're exploring the tasting trail.

10. Fox & Oak

This community coffee and bakehouse features naturally leavened brioche donuts and a rotating list of multiple coffee roasts that showcase changing regions, styles, and seasons.

11. Frostbites Syrup

Crafting artisan cordials, syrups and shave ice (AKA craft snow cones) with all-natural ingredients. Purchase a bottle at the Squamish Adventure Centre to make your own snow cones, cocktails, desserts, popsicles and more or find them at the Squamish Farmer's Market. 

12. Raincity Distillery

Squamish's only small-batch craft distillery, Raincity Distillery embodies the spirit of Squamish with locally sourced ingredients. Discover their beautiful collection of gins and vodka made from a masterfully distilled and fermented process, giving each a premium and distinct flavour.
