Smoke Bluffs Park & Crumpit Woods

These neighbouring areas offer a ton of recreation for climbers, hikers and spectators.

Smoke Bluffs Park

There are hundreds of easily-accessible single-pitch rock climbing routes scattered in pockets throughout the Smoke Bluffs Park area that will keep even the advanced rock climbers busy for weeks. This well-maintained trail network provides a variety of scenic lookouts, picnic areas and a ton of great spots to check out the rock climbers along with the rest of the action in town. The area’s loop trail is easily accessible and will take you about 30-45 minutes.

Getting There:

The parking area and trailhead information is located on Loggers Lane just steps from the Squamish Adventure Centre. While you’re there, stop by the Visitor Information Centre for everything else you might need.

Crumpit Woods

The Crumpit Woods area boasts an impressive and expansive network mountain biking, dirt biking and hiking trails for all levels and abilities through exposed granite features, tall trees and lush forested areas.

Getting There:

Take the Westway exit into Valleycliffe from the Sea to Sky Highway and follow it until you reach a marked gravel pullout just before Raven’s Plateau. There you will find a double-track trailhead and an information board.
