Downtown Squamish
Dine, shop and play in Squamish’s vibrant downtown core where you’ll find retail shops, services and amenities all within a walkable distance. Cleveland Avenue, Downtown Squamish’s main street, is lined with coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants, and the Squamish Public Library and Municipal Hall. You can also visit Howe Sound Brewery and Cliffside Cidery to whet you whistle.
Cleveland Avenue is also home to two green spaces, O’Siyam Pavilion, a multi-purpose outdoor structure that acts as a stage for several outdoor music performances and community events throughout the year and Stan Clarke Park where there is a paved walkway and central plaza as well as a popular gated playground.
During the summer, Downtown Squamish is bustling with live music and special events including the Squamish Arts Festival, the Squamish Days Loggers Sports Parade and the weekly Squamish Farmers’ Market located at Cleveland Avenue and Victoria Street. You can stroll Squamish’s lovely oceanfront just behind Logger's Lane on the new Mamquam Blind Channel boardwalk and watch as the boats enter and leave the channel.
Getting There:
Downtown Squamish is accessible from Cleveland Avenue, the first major intersection along the Sea to Sky Highway as you head into Squamish from Vancouver.
