Brackendale

Home to North America’s largest concentration of wintering bald eagles, the community of Brackendale is Squamish’s northernmost neighbourhood. 

Known locally as “The Republic of Brackendale,” the area is busy with mountain bikers, artisans and eagle viewers, and is a great destination for river walks, trail running, biking and coffee dates. Brackendale is easily accessible by turning left on Depot Road from Highway 99 or by Government Road, one of Squamish’s main roads that runs parallel to the highway.
