Britannia Mine Museum Spoo-ook-tacular Halloween
Visit the Britannia Mine Museum for family-friendly frights that focus on science. Bats, ghost stories and all things spooky will guarantee a ‘Spoo-ook-tacular’ time for those visitors who dare to join us.
Festivities will run over three days, with a range of spooky activities to thrill adults and kids alike. The Museum has worked hard to create event that takes into account COVID safety procedures but leaves plenty of room for fun. Admission includes a viewing of the BOOM! show, and a spooky story for our guests. Please note that the Underground train will not be a part of Halloween celebrations this year - guests who are especially keen to tour the Underground can do so with the purchase of an additional ticket.
- Strange Science Shows – Interactive Halloween-themed science show featuring jack-o-lanterns, strange witches brews, spooky potions and tricks full of mysterious experiments, learning and fun.
- Cabinet of Curiosities – Located at the Museum’s Machine Shop, marvel at underwater marine life of Howe Sound with specimens (not live) from Vancouver Aquarium such as a juvenile wolf eel, and a variety of animal specimens from the Beaty Biodiversity Museum including a replica of a blue whale flipper skeleton.
