Walk-N-Roll

The Walk n Roll is a celebration of people with disabilities. Everyone is welcome, whether you have a disability or not.

The 2026 Walk N Roll will feature a loop thorugh downtonw where participants are invited to stop along the way and learn about accessibility. A map will be provided on which participants can collects stamps from participating shops and enter a prize draw.
In addition, various accessibility organizations will be present with information booths and demonstrations of accessibility.

For who is this event:

This event will be open to the public to enjoy, whether you have a disability or not. Everyone is welcome to come and show support for people with disabilities in this fun and festive atmosphere. The Walk n’ Roll is being organized in partnership with Squamish Arts, Downtown Squamish, Squamish Rotary Club, Squamish Public Library, Tourism Squamish, and the District of Squamish. This event carries on the legacy of D’Arcy McCrea, who dreamed of an accessible Squamish for everyone.

Where:

The Walk and Roll will take place in the downtown core. Included are Cleveland Avenue, 2nd Avenue, and Stan Clarke Park.
