Vox Rea was PEAK BC Artist of the Month in July 2025.

Sisters Kate and Lauren Kurdyak make up Vox Rea, a Vancouver-raised project built on vulnerability and existential, noir-pop introspection. Their 2022 self-titled album blended vocal harmonies and synths into a cinematic, philosophically-tinged sound, drawing comparisons to Florence + the Machine and Nietzsche alike.

Since their 2020 debut single "Dose Me Up," Vox Rea has topped 1 million Spotify streams, landed on major editorial playlists, and scored TV syncs on Sweet Magnolias and Orphan Black. They've toured extensively across North America, the UK, and Europe, playing festivals like SXSW, Reeperbahn, and Treefort Music Fest.
