A Celebration of the Squamish Community

Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh Squamish Together is a celebration of community taking place on July 1st, 2023. The aim is to remember our past, honour our traditional lands, and aim toward a brighter future together.

Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh Squamish Together is a day that celebrates the diversely rich community of Squamish amongst live music, art, food and beverage, and craft from many community groups and cultures. Everyone has something to contribute and diversity is our greatest strength as a community.

Every aspect of this event will be carefully considered to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for everyone, effectively creating a space where people of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs feel comfortable expressing themselves and being who they are.

Steps are being taken to ensure that the event reflects the needs of everyone and is accessible to all members of the community, including visitors. This outdoor event will feature live music, food and beverage, cultural performances, and the X̱ex̱e7énaḵ Creators Together Market along Cleveland Avenue in Downtown Squamish.
