Squamish Mamquam Parkrun
A free weekly 5km for everyone in the heart of Squamish
Join us every Saturday at 9:00am for the Mamquam Spawning Trail parkrun, a free, community-led 5km event set alongside the beautiful Mamquam River. Open to runners, joggers, walkers and volunteers of all ages and abilities, parkrun is a welcoming way to experience the outdoors while connecting with the local community.
The course follows a flat gravel double loop through the Mamquam Spawning Channels, offering stunning mountain views and a chance to explore one of Squamish’s most important salmon habitats. Whether you’re visiting Squamish for the weekend, training for a race, walking with friends, bringing the family, or simply looking for a fun way to start your Saturday, you’ll find a friendly atmosphere and plenty of encouragement.
Participation is completely free. Register once for a barcode at parkrun.ca and bring it with you to receive an official timed result. Many participants also enjoy volunteering, helping create the welcoming community spirit that makes parkrun special around the world.
After the event, participants often gather at Cloudburst Café for coffee and conversation. The event takes place every Saturday at 9:00am, year-round. Visitors are asked to park at Canadian Tire rather than at the start area or golf course parking.
