The Railway Museum of BC is open every Friday, Saturday & long weekend Sundays all Summer! (except Sept 6). There's may exhibits to explore, activities and trains to play with for kids and adults.
Climb aboard the massive Royal Hudson #2860 steam locomotive and 'Buddy', our PGE Saddletank Baldwin Engine #2. See our operating locomotives #561, #4069 and #6520 up close. Walk through the Post Office Car, Bunk Car, Colonist Car and a Caboose.
Paid admission to the Museum gives you unlimited access to ride everything operating all day! Ride the BC-21 Budd Rail Diesel Car, a self propelled passenger car once used to carry passengers from Vancouver to Prince George. Enjoy unlimited 2km rides along the Mini-Rail Train, and then go for a ride on the 'Big Red' CN Speeder.
At the Museum, you can see, hear, touch and experience the actual trains, locomotives and equipment that are part of British Columbia’s railway history and heritage. This is railway equipment that helped build BC and Canada.

Open every Friday in July & August. Closed Saturday Sept 6 due to Hwy 99 closure for Grand Fondo Cycling event. Access2 Support persons are entitled to FREE admission.
