Magic the Gathering: Beginner Social @ Arrow Wood Games

Come get a taste of Magic: The Gathering, in a beginner-friendly environment!

The beginner social is a casual and welcoming environment for newcomers to the game to hone their skills.

Play against other novice players, untangle new keywords and rules, ask questions with the help of knowledgeable staff, and make new friends.

This event is open to newcomers to the game, as well as, beginner and novice players. No experience is necessary – show up curious and we’ll do the rest!

No cards? No problem! Loaner jumpstart decks are available for a $5 rental fee (while supplies last), and starter decks for a number of formats are available for sale during the event.

A note on format:
- All formats and decks are welcome here, as long as they fit into a beginner-level bracket.
- Arrow Wood Games recommends that new players start with the Jumpstart format, but all decks are welcome.
- Arrow Wood Games requires a minimum of 4 participants to run this event.
