This is the 3rd Lunch and Learn Event hosted by the Howe Sound Biosphere Region Initiative Society co-hosted with Tourism Squamish

This is your chance to:

• Understand how our landscape has changed and the cumulative impacts driving biodiversity loss.
• Explore how ecological connectivity networks can restore vital movement pathways for wildlife and people
• Be part of the conversation on creating a more resilient landscape for all.

Since European settlement, habitats fragmented by human development have increased biodiversity loss, disrupted wildlife movement and the flow of natural processes we all depend on for survival. By weaving together Indigenous knowledge, community science, and connectivity modelling, we have an opportunity to learn what we can each do to increase ecosystem resilience for current and future generations.

Speakers Dr. Murray Journeay and Katherine Andy, with an introduction from Sarah McJannet, District of Squamish.
