Fresh Cut Grass is a high-energy 5-piece rock and alternative cover band that specializes in the anthems of the 2000s emo and rock era. Born from a shared love of playing live music and a deep connection to the genres that defined their youth, the band delivers nostalgic performances that resonate with audiences in their 30s and 40s. Drawing from iconic artists like Blink-182, Foo Fighters, Paramore, Green Day, and Linkin Park, Fresh Cut Grass creates an unforgettable experience filled with sing-alongs, dancing, and pure energy. With over two years of commanding stages across Squamish, Whistler, and Vancouver, they've built a reputation for consistently selling out local venues and delivering memorable shows that fans return to again and again.

The band’s lineup, featuring accomplished musicians Jake Podesta (vocals), Phil Cartwright (lead guitar), Noah Beez( rhythm guitar), Aurthur Barrientos (bass) and Scott Barrow (drums) combine skillful instrumentation and soulful vocals to recreate the anthems that fuelled the alternative music scene.

From the angsty anthems of Blink-182 to the anthemic choruses of Pearl Jam flawlessly navigates the sonic landscapes of the past.
