Blood Bowl: Strategies, Skils & Drills @ Arrow Wood Games

Join Arrow Wood Games and the local Blood Bowl community for Strategy, Skills and Drills!

This event is an instructor-facilitated training ground for beginner and novice coaches to take their time and focus on strategic gameplay. Participants will pair up for matches where the focus is skill-building over speed. Coaches are enxcouraged to discuss offensive and defensive strategies as they play out their turns, without pressure to make decisions on a timer. Arrow Wood Games may pause the gameplay periodically to debrief a particularly spectacular – or disastrous – play.

Hosted by their in-house Blood Bowl expert, League Commissioner Sam, the Strategy, Skills & Drills night is your chance to start building out your strategic toolkit for the upcoming Winter League. Try out your wildest ideas, and find out for yourself why Nuffle rewards coaches who save the risky turn actions for last! 

Nuffle’s Strategic Decrees:
- Beginner friendly, some experience recommended (check out the Learn to Play!)
- Teams do not need to be painted
- Coaches are advised to bring the team they intend to run in the League or generally want to get familiar with.
- Please bring a pitch if you have one! Some loaner pitches will be available as well.
- Due to the nature of the slowed down gameplay, most matches won’t be played to completion. 
- More experienced players are welcome, however please come ready to participate in slow, chatty gameplay.

Additional notes:
- This event is 14+
- We require a minimum of 6 players to run the event.
- Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event.
- No outside food or drink. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.
- Doors will open 15 minutes before event start time. Participants are welcome to socialize and settle in while staff finish setting up.
