Get grounded in the basics of wheel-thrown pottery in this 1-week accelerated program. Each week builds your skills step-by-step as you explore the full process of creating pottery on the wheel.

You’ll start with wedging, centering, and throwing simple cylinders, then move on to trimming techniques and creating clean, flat bottoms. From there, you’ll learn to shape outward into bowls and mugs, add foot rings and handles, and finally glaze your finished pieces. You’ll come away with a solid foundation in wheel throwing — and a small collection of handmade ceramics to show for it. Fun, hands-on, and beginner-friendly.
