2026 Sea to Sky BMX Nationals
MX Canada's National Championship Series returns to Squamish for three days.
The Squamish BMX Racing Club welcomes hundreds of riders from across Canada, the United States, and beyond to the 2026 Sea to Sky Nationals from June 12 through 14. The weekend brings three days of practice, qualifying, and main event racing at the Squamish BMX Track.
This marks Squamish's fifth time on the national circuit, following editions in 2011, 2013, 2016, and 2022. In the years since the last visit, Squamish BMX has rebuilt the track from the ground up, resurfaced the wear surface for near-all-weather riding, and paved the corners with support from the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation. The club also won the BMX Canada's Track Operator competition for the 2025 season. Recognition that brings the 2026 Provincial Championship Finals to Squamish this September.
Although this is a national-level event, the racing welcomes riders of every level: Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Pro-Am, and half-track athletes on balance bikes. First-time National competitors qualify for a BOGO entry: pay for one race, get the second free. Results count toward both Canadian and U.S. National Age Group (N.A.G.) standings.
Spectators are welcome free of charge. An on-site concession will be open throughout the weekend; parking at the venue is limited, and carpooling is encouraged.
