Squamish River Ranch

Squamish River Ranch is a locally owned horseback adventure company located deep in the Upper Squamish Valley, offering guided trail rides, horsemanship experiences, youth horse camps, and seasonal events.

Founded with a strong rescue-horse foundation, the ranch was built to create a safe haven for horses while sharing the beauty of the Squamish Valley in a slower, more meaningful way. The majority of the ranch’s horses are rescues, each with their own story and second chance. Guests ride through old-growth forest, along the mighty Squamish river, and beneath towering mountain peaks, experiencing a side of Squamish that feels wild, quiet, and untouched.

Located as far out the Squamish Valley as the pavement goes before the road turns to dirt, the ranch offers a true escape from the pace of everyday life. With no cell service, private valley trails, and small group experiences, guests are able to fully unplug and take in the quiet beauty of the land. Rides are guided at a pace that prioritizes safety, connection, and the comfort of both horse and rider, making the experience approachable for beginners while still memorable for experienced riders.
