Kawartha Dairy

Kawartha Dairy has opened a new location in Britannia Beach — its first store outside Ontario and first in Western Canada.

Located at 109 Church St inside the restored 70‑year‑old former community church building in Britannia Village, the shop offers a charming mix of historic atmosphere and modern treats.

On the menu:

  • 35 classic and seasonal flavours of their signature premium ice cream by the scoop

  • Milkshakes and take‑home tubs of ice cream

  • Options catering to different dietary needs — including gluten‑free, reduced‑sugar, lactose‑free, and dairy‑free sorbets

Kawartha Dairy remains a family‑owned business that began in 1937 in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Their ice cream is still made in the traditional way using 100% fresh Canadian milk and cream.
