Squamish Valley Music Festival On A Budget: Your Guide to Free (Or Almost Free) Pre-Fest Fun

You've paid for your wristbands, your transportation, your accommodations, your outfit, your sunscreen, water and and any other SVMF weekend essentials that you just couldn't live without. Now, it's our turn. We want to give your wallet wallet a welcome break with this list of free (or almost free) things to get your hands on before you arrive at the gates.

FOOD

Head downtown to O'Siyam Pavillon on Cleveland Avenue for an $8 pancake breakfast from 9:30am - 2pm Saturday and Sunday courtesy of the Squamish Lions. Ride the Sea to Sky Gondola this weekend and you'll also be treated to free pancakes once you get to the top. Breakfast will be served on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-12pm along with some of the best views around. All Squamish Valley Music Festival wristband wearers receive a $5 on gondola passes.

RECREATION

We're not going to totally fault you for not having hiked the Stawamus Chief but we might suggest that now's the time to do it. And guess what? It's totally free. So are the rest of the trails and hikes in town. Need some ideas? Start here.

SHOPPING CARTS

We can't cover the cost of your shopping spree because that wouldn't be fair, but we can tell you that there are shopping carts near the campground to help you haul your goods back to the site, and yes, they're free (and they come in quite handy!).

TIPS

Our official #exploresquamish Street Team is combing the area with useful tips and insider info that is bound to boost your weekend activities. Keep an eye out for our red tees and ask us anything you need to know!
